Ah, the old pillows-under-the-blanket trick. Well, it didn't work well for a teenage boy who tried to duck out of his curfew Tuesday.
Despite a court order that mandated him to be at home between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m., the 16-year-old boy tried to light out after lights out. In an apparent attempt to fool his guardian that he was actually at home sleeping, the boy put pillows under his blankets before taking off.
It didn't work, and police were able to arrest him Tuesday evening.
He did get a night away from home, however — police took him up to jail for the night. He was to appear in court on Wednesday.
