Brandon Sun - ONLINE EDITION

Plenty of sun, temperatures improving

Finally, it's starting to feel like spring.

Environment Canada is calling for a high of 10ºC this afternoon, with a mix of sun and cloud, although there will be a fairly stiff wind from the north, at 30 km/h.

That wind'll continue tonight, with clear skies and a frosty low of -1ºC, before the mercury recovers to a high of 13ºC tomorrow, despite increasing cloudiness tomorrow afternon, as winds finally die down late tomorrow evening.

Friday should see a mix of sun and cloud, with a high of 12ºC, followed by a slight cool down for the weekend. Both Saturday and Sunday should see highs of 8ºC, with mostly sunny skies, albeit a touch of cloud on Saturday.

At this point, Monday and Tuesday look to see a mix of sun and cloud, with highs around 10ºC.

The normal high for this time of year is 15ºC, the normal low is 2ºC.

The warmest it's ever been on this date was in 1977, when it touched 28.9ºC. The coldest was in 1966, when it dropped to -11.7ºC.
