Nearly two weeks after a Brandon man left his home in the middle of the night, police say they haven't turned up a trace of him.

Sixty-three-year-old William Kent was last seen at a home in the 3000-block of Park Avenue, which he left in the early-morning hours of April 24. Despite a search, he hasn't been seen since then.

Kent, who is described as white, about 6 feet tall and 181 pounds, has dark brown hair that is balding on top. He was believed to be wearing a dark blue long sleeve shirt and possibly slippers when he left the residence — he was not dressed for the elements. The day of his disappearance, temperatures were barely above freezing.

Police say that they think Kent left the home on foot, but they don't know which way he was headed. They say both they and his family are very concerned with his well-being and are requesting the public’s help in providing any information that may assist in finding Kent.

Anyone with any information is asked to call Brandon Police Service at 204-729-2345.
