Local police officers made a couple of ‘gimme’ arrests on Thursday when two people who were wanted on warrants fell into their laps.
The first was a 31-year-old woman who was wanted on a drug charge. When she found out about the warrant, she turned herself in to police and was taken into custory. She was later released, with a court date on May 22.
Then, they arrested a 38-year-old man who was wanted by the RCMP in The Pas. He turned out to be already in custody at the Brandon Correctional Centre. He was to appear in Brandon court Friday.
