At least seven people felt cuffs on their wrists after police tracked them down for various minor offences on Wednesday.

They said Thursday morning that, in the previous 24 hours, they had made the three arrests of people with outstanding warrants, and another three for being intoxicated — all from separate incidents. One person was also taken into custody under the Mental Health Act, and later admitted to a health care facility.

A 14-year-old boy was arrested and held overnight at the Brandon Correctional Center after a warrant had been issued for him for failing to comply with conditions of his probation.

As well, a 36-year-old man was arrested on the strength of an RCMP warrant.

And, a 27-year-old man was arrested on the strength of a warrant issued for a parole violation. He was held overnight at the  Brandon Correctional Center.

Police also said that the runaway youth from a local group home had returned to the resident.
