Police took five people from separate incidents up to the drunk tank after finding them highly intoxicated on Tuesday afternoon, evening and early Wednesday morning.
They said one drunk man, 47, was found in the zero-hundred block of Seventh Street at 2 p.m. on Tuesday.
About 40 minutes later, a 33-year-old man was found passed out in the lobby of a downtown business, in the 800-block of Rosser.
Then, at 4:20 p.m., another man, 25, was found wandering around intoxicated in the 400-block of Ninth Street.
Three hours after that, at 7:20 p.m. Tuesday, a 25-year-old man attending a public event in Princess Park was found to be too drunk to stay there.
And finally, at about 5:15 a.m. on Wednesday morning, police came across a 31-year-old woman staggering down the roadway in the 400-block of Lorne Avenue.
