Three from this column and three from that. That's who ended up in the drunk tank together overnight Thursday.

Police said Friday morning that in the past 24 hours, they had arrested three people in separate incidents who were jailed overnight for being drunk. They also arested an additional three drunk people who were held in custody to prevent a breach of the peace.

A 13-year-old girl from the RM of Glenwood was also arrested and held overnight after she was reported causing a disturbance at a Brandon group home. Police say she was found in possession of a bottle of liquor that had been stolen earlier Thursday evening from a local Liquor Mart. She was to be released Friday into the custody of a guardian, albeit with a court date of July 15, where she'll face a charge of theft under $5,000.

Officers also took a 49-year-old male into custody under the Mental Health Act. He was taken to a health facility and was eventually turned over to medical staff for care.

Police are also looking for two youths who are reported as runaways.
