Police arrested one, took a second person into custody for his own help, and are looking for two runaways, they said Thursday morning.

In their daily release, they said that a 35-year-old man had had to be hauled in to the drunk tank after he wouldn't leave a hotel in the 1100-block of 18th Street. The man, who was apparently causing a disturbance, was asked to leave by hotel security. Police were called when he decided to stand his ground instead. He was held overnight in jail and was to be released when he was sober.

Officers also took a 25-year-old man into custody under the Mental Health Act. He was taken to a medical facility for assessment and care.

Police say that they are also looking for two girls who were reported as runaways from a group home at approximately 2:30 a.m. on Thursday morning.
