Police find second body on Ethelbert property

Mounties investigating the death of an Ethelbert woman say they have found a second body on her property.

The body of Elsie Steppa, a woman in her 70s, was found Sunday, after neighbours grew worried that they hadn't seen her in a while.

Missing was her 40-something nephew, Harry Jones, who lived with her.

Now police say that, during a search of Steppa's property, they have located the body of an adult male, although they aren't confirming his identity.

The cause of his death remains unknown until autopsy results are obtained, but the death is being treated as suspicious.

Autopsies have been scheduled for both victims in Winnipeg today, and results are pending.

The investigation continues.
