Leaving a vehicle unattended for just a short time was long enough to get it stolen.

Police say that a four-door 2013 Honda CRV — a crossover SUV — was sitting outside a business in the 500-block of First Street on Sunday when it was stolen.

The car is black and bears the Manitoba license plate number GSK 177.

It was apparently left unattended for just a short time, when a suspect described as a native male betwen the ages of 17–19 got in and drove away, headed south on First Street. The thief was wearing a black jacket and a red hoodie at the time.

Police say that they have not identified any suspects and they continue to investigate.
