Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper will touch down in Brandon Sunday as part of a tour of flood-affected areas.
This is the first visit to Manitoba by Stephen Harper since the last major flood to hit the area in 2011. During his stop in Brandon in 2011, the prime minister toured affected areas along the Assiniboine River valley and promised federal assistance to the Manitoba government.
The prime minister is scheduled to arrive in Brandon sometime late tomorrow morning.
