For teens hoping to get that first illustrious part-time job, the hunt might be over.

Child and Youth Opportunities Minister Kevin Chief announced 110 new Green Team jobs today, on top of the 3,600 jobs for young people the province has already provided this summer.

"We cannot build healthy, safe, resilient communities without our youth ambassadors," said Chief.

"The most talented young people in Canada live in Manitoba and we want to keep them here."

Chief announced the new jobs while flanked by a large group of youths holding up colourful signs that read "#YourCareerStartsHere".

The new job listings will be posted on studentjobs.gov.mb.ca.
