Police are concerned for the well-being of a 16-year-old girl who entered into an unknown vehicle on Highway 250 near Beresford.

Authorities have spoken with Kaitlyn Emily Parker since she entered the vehicle on Sunday, as seen by a guardian, but RCMP remain concerned and want to confirm her welfare in person. At this time, she is avoiding police.

She is described as Caucasian, 5-foot-1, 101 pounds with brown eyes and long hair that is dark on top, switches to blonde at her ears and then goes back to dark. She was last seen wearing a black hoodie with black leggings and black and white Jordan runners.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Brandon RCMP at 204-726-7522 or call Manitoba Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.
