Accidents across the province prompted the RCMP to issue a warning regarding slippery road conditions in Western Manitoba.
Portions of the TransCanada Highway near Brandon and Portage la Prairie had to be closed this morning due to motor vehicle accidents.
Police are reminding motorists to use caution when driving, particularly between Brandon and Virden. Roads in these areas have been reported by officers as very slippery.
Officers were kept busy overnight and this morning witha series of single vehicle collisions that largely involve motorists losing control of their vehicles and sliding into ditches.
So far there hasn’t been any serious injuries reported.
