Rear-view mirrors torn off

Two teenagers have been arrested and charged with mischief after police found vehicle mirrors broken off.

Police were called at about 3:40 a.m. this morning to the 400-block of Seventh Street, where several people were said to be damaging vehicles. When officers arrived, they found two vehicles in the area with their rear-view mirrors broken off.

Officers say they identified two teenage boys they believe responsible for the damage, who were found and arrested.

A 17-year-old boy from Waywayseecappo First Nation and a 14-year-old boy from Sioux Valley First Nation, are both to appear in court on Aug. 14, on charges of mischief to property.
