offering of amenities currently proposed for Rideau Park.

An online survey has been created for Riverview ward residents and the wider
community to provide their feedback on the current proposal, as well as any other
thoughts or preferences for the park, a city spokesperson said in a release Tuesday.

The survey, along with a conceptual plan for the park (for the purposes of community
discussion only) can be viewed a:t www.brandon.ca/rideau-park-hub-survey.

Survey responses will be collected until Dec.1.

Ward residents and interested members of the community with ideas or suggestions
about what they’d like to see in the way of future recreational offerings at Rideau Park
are also invited to attend a Riverview Ward meeting on the evening of Tuesday,
Oct. 23.

The meeting starts at 7 p.m. at the East End Community Centre, located at
405 Park St.

Members of City administration will be in attendance at the ward meeting to answer any
questions people might have about the proposal.

However, please note that the Rideau Park Recreation Hub is one of only several items on the agenda.

The City of Brandon looks forward to the community’s input as it continues to plan for
the revitalization of community recreation at Rideau Park.
