Robbery reported at drive-thru ATM

Two people who withdrew cash at a drive-thru ATM were robbed on Thursday evening, police say.

Brandon police responded to a 911 call at about 7:30 p.m. in the 1200 block of Park Avenue. Police say that after the two individuals withdrew money from the ATM, they were approached by a female and two males who demanded money from them under threat of violence.

The female then apparently assaulted one of the individuals before fleeing the area with the two males. The victim sustained no serious injuries.

The female suspect is described as aboriginal in appearance, with long dark curly hair, wearing a grew sweater and yellow tank top. The two males with her were both described as aboriginal in appearance. One man was about 5'7", 150 pounds, and wore a whie shirt, black pants and a hat. The second suspect was balding, and wore black clothes.

Police did not disclose the age of the victims, nor the amount of money that was taken.
