Rural buses off the roads for BSD

Some schools in the Pine Creek School Division will be closed today and some school bus routes in both Pine Creek and the Brandon School Division are staying off the roads today.

Plumas Elementary School and Langruth Elementary School in the Pine Creek School Division are closed today. All other Pine Creek Schools are open, but there will be no bus service in the northern part of the school division and officials caution there may be reductions in bus service in the southern part of the school division. Details on the bus routes affected can be found on the division website.

In the Brandon School Division, plowing of rural bus routes will not be complete for this morning so Brandon School Division buses will not be operating outside the city of Brandon all day due to poor rural road conditions. All Brandon School Division schools are open and buses will be running within the city of Brandon. Attendance at schools is at parental discretion where travel is required. Students are asked to contact their school if they are not going to attend.
