Sever thunderstom watches issued for Westman mid Monday afternoon have been ended.
A watch is one step less urgent than a warning, and indicates the possibility of severe weather. A warning indicates that severe weather is imminent or already happening.
Monday afternoon's watch was issued by meteorologists who say conditions were favourable this afternoon and evening for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.
There were some areas that briefly got showers.
Some Westman towns were hard-hit by a storm just two days ago, and the entire region was drenched by four days of downpour just over a week ago.
