Still cold, chance of flurries this morning, tomorrow
The cold is sticking around for one more day, as Brandon heads to a high of -17 C today, but it should warm up tomorrow.
Environment Canada is calling for cloudy skies this morning, with a chance of flurries late this morning or early this afternoon before skies clear later today.
A few clouds will linger overnight, as the temperature dips to -22 C overnigh.
Tuesday will dawn mainly sunny, but clouds are expected late in the morning, with light snow. Warmer air will rush in from the west, bringing tomorrow's high to about -4 C, but don't expect to enjoy it — wind gusts of 30–50 km/h should keep the wind chill into the low -20s.
Clouds and possibly snow are expected later this week, too, although mild temperatures will stick around.
The forecast for Wednesday is calling for a high of -7 C and a low of -9 C.
Thursday could see a 60 per cent chance of flurries, with a high of -1 C and a low of -16 C.
Friday will also see a small chance of flurries, with a high again of -1 C and a low of -2 C.
Sun is expected to return for the weekend, along with a plunge in temperature back down to highs of - 21 C on both Saturday and Sunday.
The normal high for this time of year is -12 C, the normal low is -23 C.
