Police say that a stolen cell phone was able to be tracked by the victim, leading them to arrest a teenager.
The cell phone was reportedly stolen from a vehicle on Feb. 9, but the victim was able to trace it to a location inside a Brandon high school. The school's resource officer managed to recover the phone, which was in the possession of a student.
The 16-year-old student has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime, and will be appearing in court in March.
