Police are asking the public to be on the lookout for a stolen trailer that was taken sometime earlier this year.

The trailer, which was new and valued at about $10,000, was noticed missing from Advantage Auto on Highland Avenue during inventory on Monday afternoon, and is believed to have been stolen sometime in the past four or five weeks.

The missing trailer is a 2013 black, fully-enclosed Interstate, dual-axle cargo trailer with a bumper hitch. It's eight feet wide by 22 feet long and is not licensed. It has a V-shaped nose with a four-foot aluminum check plate stone guard, a fold-up ramp at the rear and a door on the side. The trailer was marked with Advantage Auto Decals.

Anyone who spots it should call the Brandon Police Service at 204-729-2345.
