A man found passed out on a sofa this morning was so out of it that he couldn't explain how he got there.

Police say a resident of a Fraser Crescent home woke up this morning at 7 a.m. and found a stranger sleeping on a sofa in the house. Police say the 35-year-old man apparently wandered through the back yard of the home, and then went inside, passing out on the sofa where he was found.

When he was woken, police say he had no explanation for being in the home, and he was arrested for being unlawfully in a dwelling house.

Following his arrest, police found he was carrying some quantity of marijuana.

He was taken to the Brandon Correctional Centre to sober up, and will face additional drug charges when he's released.
