Nearly a million people have watched a video of a single basket at a Brandon University Bobcats game this past weekend -- and it didn't even affect the outcome.
While most basketball shots are worth two -- maybe three -- points, student Mason Kaluzniak had a chance to make a shot worth substantially more, in a gametime promotion that would pay his tuition if he netted a basket from half court.
Kaluzniak picked Bobcats head coach Gil Cheung to take the shot for him.
In a shirt and tie, the coach bounced the ball a couple of times, took a step and launched an arc that swished perfectly through the net.
It's not quite the shot heard 'round the world, but in the days since it has made the rounds.
Aside from closing in on one million YouTube views, the video has been featured on websites like ESPN, USA Today, Reddit and CNN.
