Suspects spotted in car vandalism, bike theft

Police are on the lookout for two suspects were slashed open a convertible's top and then stole a mountain bike on Saturday evening.

A resident of the 300-block of Sixth Street reported the vandalism and theft. The car, a Ford Mustang, had its convertible top slashed, and the car was rummaged through. Then, the duo made off with a silver mountain bike that had been in the back yard. The bike is silver with yellow lettering and has a wire carrier on the back.

The thefts happened at about 10 p.m. and the pair responsible are described as men about 18–22 years old, who are aboriginal in appearance. They're both about five-foot-10 and look to weigh about 175 pounds. One had a Mohawk-style haircut.
