Teen arrested after fight at school

A Brandon high school student is accused of instigating a fight in the hallway at Crocus Plains, and will face charges, police say.

Staff at the school called police on April 24, but say that the fight had happened the day before. Police say one male student provoked a confrontation with another student, and then punched the victim several times in the upper body.

Officers were able to locate and arrested the suspect on Thursday.

A 15-year-old Brandon boy is to appear in court on June 19, on charges of assault and causing a disturbance by fighting.
