Police quickly tracked down and arrested a suspect after a robbery at knifepoint earlier this week.
A 16-year-old boy from Rolling River First Nation was arrested yesterday, and will face charges after the robbery Tuesday night.
Police say a 19-year-old woman was walking near 18th Street and Rosser Avenue at about 10:45 p.m. that night when she was held up by a male with a knife. He made off with her smartphone, jacket and backpack, police say, and fled in a pickup truck.
Their investigation identified a suspect, and he was arrested yesterday.
The suspect was to appear in court this morning on charges of armed robbery and threatening to cause death.
