The teenage boy was spotted and detained by a civilian who caught him trying to break into a number of vehicles along the 700-block of 17th Street. When police arrived on scene, they learned of his recent release, and that he was bound by a court order.
He was jailed overnight, to appear in court again Thursday, to face charges of mischief.
