A young Brandon man faces multiple drug-related charges after a police raided a home over the weekend.
Officers with a warrant searched the Driedger Bay home on Sunday, turning up cocaine, marijuana and more than $10,000 in cash. They say that the drugs — there was about an ounce and a half of cocaine and a pound of marijuana — were worth an additional $10,000 on the street.
Police also seized other drug-related paraphernalia and a spring-loaded switchblade knife.
A 19-year-old Brandon man was arrested without incident and has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and marihuana, possession of the proceeds of crime and possession of a prohibited weapon.
He's since been released from custody, but has a date in court.
