Police arrested two 18-year-old man in separate incidents on Sunday evening, saying that they've failed to follow their court-ordered curfews.

Officers went to a home near the Sporstplex around 10:15 p.m. on Sunday for their first arrest, where the teenager had been reported by his probation officer to have been habitually breaching the conditions of his release. He was not only failing to abide by his curfew, but was also apparently travelling without prior permission.

He was arrested without incident and was held overnight to appear in court on Monday morning.

Then, just before 11 p.m. on Sunday, police pulled over a vehicle and found that the driver, an 18-year-old Alexander man, was out past his curfew, a condition of a recognizance order.

He was arrested for that, and when officers searched him, they also turned up a small amount of cocaine.

He, too, was held overnight, and was to appear in court Monday morning.
