Third suspect arrested after sex assaults on 9-year-old girl
Police say a third suspect has been arrested after a nine-year-old girl was reportedly sexually assaulted in Brandon.
Although the assaults were first reported on Feb. 5, police weren't able to make an arrest until April 17. At that time, they said they had arrested a man who had been staying at the home where the assaults are alleged to have occurred.
A 19-year-old Brandon man is to appear in court on June 11 to face sexual assault charges.
Now, though, police say there may have been multiple sexual assaults, involing three male suspects.
Police say that a 24-year-old inmate of Headingley Correctional Centre was arrested on Wednesday, and is scheduled to appear in court on June 18, to face charges of sexual assault, sexual interference and breach of probation
Police described him as the third suspect, but have not released any information about the second suspect.

This is just SO HARD to read.
This is just so SICK and DISGUSTING!
WHERE in the name of God were the parents/caregivers?
This poor little girl!
For the REST OF HER LIFE, this young girl will be affected by the terrible, horrible, SELFISH actions of her VERY DISGUSTING perpetrators.
Pictures of these individuals should be posted and printed in ALL of the newspapers.
Perhaps some public shame/humiliation might PREVENT some other sick individual from thinking that ANY of this is okay in the future.
Raping a little girl is about as LOW as you can go.
As a society and as a community, we should be HORRIBLY OUTRAGED by this.
I feel SO SORRY for this POOR little girl!
Were the parents DRUNK and NOT aware of what was happening to their little girl?
I hope that Child and Family Services is INVOLVED in this situation now!
EVERYBODY that I have spoken to about this is just SO UPSET and SO DISTRAUGHT to hear that this has happened right here within Brandon.
This behaviour is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE and I hope that the SENTENCE and jail time for these low lifes will reflect the public`s REVULSION, CONTEMPT and OUTRAGE for such totally UNACCEPTABLE behaviour!
How DEPRAVED, messed up these individuals must be!
Were these perpetrators abused, neglected and treated horribly themselves?
This behaviour is just SO UNACCEPTABLE that it is VERY DIFFICULT to even wrap your head around such ABUSE, such DEPRAVITY against a poor, innocent, small little child!
This is VERY APPALLING!
