Three threaten man with pepper spray

A man turned over a small amount of cash after three people threatened him with pepper spray earlier this week.

The victim called police just after 2 p.m. on Thursday, but says the robbery actually happened at about 5 p.m. the day before.

He says he had been in the 1700- or 1800-block of Lorne Avenue when he was approached by three people, all male, all wearing red, who said they were armed with pepper spray and would harm him if he didn't give them money.

After he gave them a small amount of money, he was not inured, police say.

The suspects were decribed as two who looked aboriginal, and one who appeared Caucasian.

Police continue to investigate.

Let`s SERIOUSLY NIP any toehold to increased gang activity within our city.

Let`s TAKE BACK our city from these delinquent thugs and gang banger wannabe`s.

This is intolerable.
