Brandon police had to haul three people into jail overnight Wednesday, to either prevent or quell a breach of the peace.

They say the first was a drunk 19-year-old woman who was causing a disturbance at a home in the 400-block of Seventh Street.

Another teen, a 15-year-old girl, was also taken in; she was involved in some kind of disturbance and altercation with another resident of the group home where they both live.

The third was a a 26-year-old man who was drunk and causing a disturbance at a family member's home in the 2500-block of McDonald Avenue.

A fourth person was also taken into custody. Police say a male was taken in by police under the Mental Health Act. He was taken to a facility for care.
