Police landed a drug bust and recovered a stolen car after being tipped-off about a wanted man.

Just before 3 a.m. on Wednesday, officers learned that a man with a warrant out for his arrest was staying in the 300-block of 18th Street North. When they checked the location out, officers also spotted a stolen vehicle.

After a brief interaction with two men, police say that one was arrested and the other ran off. However, officers set up a perimeter and found him nearby.

The man who ran was found to be in possession of a baggie of crystal meth and police say he admitted having driven the stolen vehicle. That man, who is 23 years old, has been charged with possession for the purposes of trafficking and possession of stolen property.

The first man arrested, who is 27, was found in possession of eight individually package bags og marijuana, crystal meth and ecstasy. He's been charged with possession for the purposes of trafficking.

Police say they continue to investigate.
