Brandon police made two arrests on Tuesday, based on pre-existing warrants.
The first was a man who strolled into the police station around 10 a.m. to turn himself in. The 33-year-old said that he knew there was a warrant for his arrest, since he hadn't shown up for required identification.
He was taken into custody and later released, with a court date of Sept. 25.
The second was a 26-year-old man who was wanted by the Swan River RCMP for aggravated assault, uttering threats and failing to comply with a recognizance order.
He was found at a home in the 300-block of Second Street around 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday and arrested without incident. After spending the night in jail, he was to appear in court on Wednesday.
