Two fires near Brandon

Reports that ammunition is stored in the basement of a house ablaze has firefighters moving cautiously.

The Brandon Sun has learned that the rural home, located just off Highway 349 south of Brandon, is filled with smoke due to a fire that is in the basement.

However, the homeowner says that possibly several hundred rounds of old ammunition is stored inside.
