They agreed to the fight, but the disturbance they caused was enough to get them both arrested.
A 19-year-old Brandon man and a 16-year-old Brandon boy both faces charges after the fight, which happened at at Brandon high school at about 10 a.m. on Thursday.
Police say the fight was consensual, but caused a commotion, and both participants were arrested by the school's liaison officer.

My 16 yr. old son plays volleyball on the Vincent Massey H.S. volleyball team.
His volleyball coach, Kurt Hunter, held a parent meeting with ALL of us.
He talked to ALL of the boys and students on the volleyball team and he talked to us parents.
He told us how SCHOOL and the boy`s EDUCATION comes FIRST.
He told us how he MONITORS EACH boy`s attendance in school, their marks, their behaviour, their performance in school, etc.
He told us that he will NOT tolerate ANY skipped classes.
ALL of the boys who wish to play volleyball MUST KEEP UP in their assignments, with their homework, etc.
IF you are caught skipping class, then you may practice with the volleyball team but you will NOT play.
He MEANS what he says and he has FOLLOWED THROUGH with his warnings to his team.
The boys KNOW that Mr. Hunter means BUSINESS and that he WILL enforce these standards.
Mr. Hunter is looking for EXCELLENCE inside and outside of the classroom.
He told EACH of us how each boy is representing their respective school, that they are AMBASSADORS for their school when they travel.
He told us how he DOESN`T CARE WHO the parents and or the children are.
They will ALL have the same LEVEL playing field.
IF one of our boys drinks, smokes, does drugs while at these volleyball tournaments outside of Brandon, they will be sent HOME on the bus, immediately, after the FIRST OFFENCE, no excuses.
Mr. Hunter stipulated the RULES which he EXPECTS each player to ABIDE by.
