Two teenage girls were sent to hospital after an early-morning crash near Rivers.
Emergency responders were called to the intersection of Highway 270 and Highway 25 just after 2 a.m. on Thursday, where they found a single-vehicle crashed had injured the driver and passenger.
A 16-year-old girl, identified as the driver, and a 15-year-old girl, her passenger, were taken to Brandon hospital with undetermined injuries.
Brandon RCMP continue to investigate what led to the crash, along with the assistance of an RCMP Traffic Reconstructionist and the RCMP Criminal Crash Investigation Team. Alcohol has not been ruled out as a contributing factor.
