A home and several vehicles in the 200 block of 28th Street were destroyed earlier this month in a fire.
The Brandon Sun has learned that two teen boys will face arson charges in relation to a Brandon house fire earlier this month.
A family of four managed to escape the devastating 28th Street house fire in the early-morning hours of June 13, although one of their pets was killed.
Police said within days that the fire was arson, and was probably linked to a series of shed and yard break-ins elsewhere in the neighbourhood that same night, including one where a jerry can was stolen.
This morning, it was learned that police had two 15-year-old boys in custody. One has already been charged with arson with disregard for human life.
Arson charges are currently pending against the other youth, who was picked up on charges he had breached court orders.
The duo are reportedly connected with the Young Bucks, a street gang that has been described as the youth wing of the Indian Posse.
Both boys are expected to appear in court on Tuesday.

This gang crap needs to be STOPPED now!
WHERE were the parents?
WHAT were they doing that evening and what have they been doing for the past 15 yrs.?
The PARENTS of these youth should be on trial as well.
I think it`s TIME to hold the PARENTS of these delinquent youth RESPONSIBLE and ACCOUNTABLE for their parenting skills and/or lack of parenting.
This RIDICULOUSNESS needs to stop!
I`d personally like to see us become the TOUGHEST CITY across the prairies when it comes to TOLERATING this garbage.
This is VERY SERIOUS!
How would these youth LIKE IT if someone did this VERY act to their OWN HOMES with their parents, siblings and pets sleeping in them.
We need SENTENCES that REFLECT the ABSOLUTE SERIOUSNESS of these crimes.
These slaps on the wrists need to END NOW!
The numbers of youth that are affected by Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, by drugs while in utero are absolutely EXPLODING within our province.
The First Nations population is the FASTEST growing population within Canada.
In Winnipeg, they target these FASD kids and lure them into gang activity because these kids are KNOWN to be the MOST vulnerable.
These kids also do NOT LEARN from their mistakes, have no sense of CONSEQUENCE, etc.
WHEN, JUST WHEN are we going to get some politicians worth their salt, who are going to start talking about, discussing and addressing some of these REAL ISSUES within our society?
The victims of this fire have been SERIOUSLY AFFECTED by the actions of theseDISTURBEDyouth
