Two pickup trucks were reported stolen Tuesday morning.
Police say that a woman called police just beofre 7 a.m. to say that her home, in the 2300-block of McDonald Avenue had been broken into sometime between midnight and 6 a.m. The thief or thieves stole cash and the keys to her truck — and then they took the truck.
The stolen pickup is a 2003 Ford F150 Supercab, described as burgandy with a grey stripe along the bottom. It has three slide-in camper brackets in box pockets and the front fender has a dent in the passenger side. It is bearing a Manitoba license plate DVY 417.
Another stolen pickup was reported at about 8:30 a.m. Tuesday morning. The manager of CowTown, in the 1700-block of 18th Street north, told police that their truck was stolen sometime between 8 p.m. on Monday night and 8 a.m. the next morning.
That truck is a 2001 Ford F250 Supercap, described as teal in color. It's got CowTown signs and logo on the front and back doors, and the logo is also on the gate of the truck. It's bearing a Manitoba license CDD 428.
