Brandon police didn't have any major incidents to deal with Monday, but they kept busy with a baker's dozen of other arrests.
They said Tuesday morning that in the previous 24 hours, they had arrested a total of 13 people for various minor offences.
That included two people arrested for domestic assault, two more for breaching their court orders, a further two for breaching the peace, and two who were detained for being intoxicated.
Police also arrested a shoplifter, and arrested a trio of people on the strength of warrants for previous offences — one each from the Brandon Police Service, the Dakota Ojibway Police Service, and the RCMP.
The final arrest may be a candidate for the most-minor offence so far this year. Police say one person was charged with causing a disturbace by swearing.
