Virden senior found safe and sound in Edmonton

Just half an hour after sending out an alert about a missing Virden man, Mounties say he has been located, safe.

Seventy-five-year-old John Clark Rose, was reported missing by his family after they didn't hear from him in Edmonton. The Virden resident had caught an overnight bus to the Alberta capital, and police worried that he had either missed a connection in Calgary, or had gotten off the bus elsewhere along the route.

Edmonton police managed to track the man down in Edmonton, where he was reportedly safe and sound.
