A woman who was behind the wheel of a vehicle that couldn’t keep to its proper lane later blew more than triple the legal limit, police say.

Officers spotted the vehicle at about 12:40 a.m. in the 500-block of Rosser Avenue East. It was seen wandering in and out of the oncoming travel lane.

Police pulled it over and say the female driver showed signs of intoxication. She later supplied samples of her breath which indicated an alcohol content more than three times the legal limit.

A 34-year-old Brandon woman is to appear in court on Jan. 17, to face a charge of impaired driving.
