Brandon Sun - ONLINE EDITION

Wet weekend ahead

It's a guarantee: Since the Summer Fair is in town, the rain must fall.

And Environment Canada is calling for a good chance of rain just about all weekend long.

This morning's showers, at least, are about over, the forecast calls for skies to clear this afternoon, along with a high of 23 C, although that will come with fairly stiff winds from the west.

Those clear skies will cloud over again overnight, as we head to a low of 13 C.

For Saturday, it's clouds all day, with showers and thunderstorms in the day, although it'll be muggy — with temperatures that will reach up to 25 C.

Sunday will be a little cooler -- the forecast calls for a high of 20 C, with a low of 12 C, and a 40 per cent chance of showers under continuing cloudy skies.

Clouds will continue on Monday, with 70 per cent chance of rain that day, and a high of just 14 C.

Sun is predicted to finally return on Tuesday.
