While some reports indicate there could be a bit of snow Thursday and Friday morning in Winnipeg, the official word for Brandon from Environment Canada just has showers on those days.

And it's been so dry out, a little moisture will surely be appreciated by many.

The temperatures in the region are to drop dramatically by tomorrow. That's what the high winds are all about today.

• Wednesday: Increasing cloudiness early in the morning. 30-per-cent chance of showers. Wind northwest 20 km/h becoming northeast 30 km/h late in the evening. High 10 C.

• Thursday: Cloudy with 60-per-cent chance of showers. Low plus 2 C. High 7 C.
