A woman who was rushed to hospital after a possible drug overdose turned out to be wanted by police, and when she was released from care, she was arrested.
Emergency workers were called to a home in the 500-block of 12th Street sometime Thursday evening. A 22-year-old woman, suffering from a possible drug overdose, was taken to Brandon hospital.
While she was there, a police check turned up the fact that there were three warrants out for her arrest — she was wanted for failing to comply with probation, failure to attend for identification, fail to appear in court, and an original charge of theft under $5,000.
She was arrested and held overnight on the strength of those warrants and was to appear in court Friday.
