Woman impaired in drive-through

Brandon police say a woman twice blew over the limit after hitting a west-end drive-through early this morning.

A call came in at about 4:40 a.m. this morning, reporting that there was a possibly impaired driver in a fast-food restaurant's drive-through; police later caught up to the vehicle near 34th Street ad Victoria Avenue.The 27-year-old Brandon woman behind the wheel provided police with two samples of her breath that were over the legal limit.

She is scheduled to appear in court on impaired driving charges on Aug. 30.
