A man behind the wheel of a vehicle headed the wrong way down Rosser Avenue was also impaired, police suspect, but he refused to provide breath samples.
He spent the night in jail anyway.
Police spotted a vehicle headed the wrong way in the 900-block of Rosser Avenue at about 3:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning. When they pulled it over, the 40-year-old man who was driving showed signed of being impaired, and he was arrested for impaired driving.
However, officers say he was agitated and uncooperative as they took him to the police station, where he refused the breathalyzer.
The man was held jailed overnight, and is to appear in court on Aug. 14.
