Plane crash near Kenora injures 3

THREE people were taken to hospital Wednesday after a small plane crashed into the woods near Trout Lake, north of Kenora, Ont.

The pilot and two passengers were taken to Lake of the Woods District Hospital in Kenora.

A hospital supervisor said late Wednesday one patient was released while the other two were being transferred to hospitals in Thunder Bay and Duluth, Minn.

According information supplied by Transport Canada, the Cessna 180G is registered to an American from Cloquet, Minn.

Peter Hildebrand of the Transportation Safety Board of Canada said he was unaware of any Manitobans being on board.

No details were available Wednesday about the cause of the crash.
