Canadian dollar closed at 97.31 cents US on Monday, down 0.65 of a cent

TORONTO - The Canadian dollar closed at 97.31 cents US on Monday, down 0.65 of a cent from Friday's close.

The U.S. dollar was at 102.76 cents Cdn, up 0.68 of a cent.

Pound sterling was C$1.5585, up 0.20 of a cent and US$1.5166, down 0.82 of a cent.

The Euro closed at C$1.3418, down 0.42 of a cent.
